Universal manifolds 'COMB'

The body of `COMB` manifolds has an enlarged diameter for air extraction as well as an air outlet on the top point. It is possible to use the air vent connection to fill and pump the geothermal loops and then install the air vent valve. It is also convenient to fill and pump the geothermal loops via the auxiliary circuit connection.

Working pressure up to 5 bar (short-term up to 8 bar possible), operating temperatures from minus 15°C to +50°C.

Brine with temperatures as low as minus 15°C can circulate inside the geothermal manifolds. Consequently, the surface of the manifolds cools down, condensation from the air starts to settle on the cold surface and water appears on the floor of the room. To prevent condensation forming on the surface of 'COMB' manifolds, we recommend the use of a thermal insulator, e.g. a 9 mm thick rubber sheet with adhesive layer. An alternative option is to use preinsulated manifolds: a 'BOX-IN' geothermal box or a 'BLOCK' manifolds set.

Metal clamps, studs, brackets and dowels are usually used for mounting the 'COMB'.

The 'COMB' manifolds come in 9 versions: for connecting 2 to 10 geothermal loops inclusive. The spigots are conveniently connected using compression plastic or brass couplings, electrofusion (electro-diffusion) polyethylene couplings. Polyethylene pipes for connecting geothermal loops can be made with a diameter of 32 or 40 mm, your choice.

The air vent connection is equipped with a collapsible brass coupling with 3/4" female thread.

We have been manufacturing 'COMB' manifolds since 2010, which guarantees no leaks, sturdiness of the product, precise dimensions and directions of connections. They are made of high quality virgin polyethylene, free of impurities and pigments.

The heat pump connection is made from the side. Standard connection diameters d1 are shown in the table.
