Plastic parts are guaranteed for 10 years. Brass parts are guaranteed for 2 years, which is the usual warranty for couplings, taps, gate valves, flow meters and other sanitary fittings
The `SUN' circular manifolds kit is designed to be installed in a homemade stone geothermal manhole, and to connect the geothermal heat pump loops around the manhole.
There are 10 pairs of Ø32 mm spigots for connecting 10 geothermal loops arranged in a circle. The `SUN' manifold is supplied to the customer with Ø32 mm hermetically closed spigots. The installer will use scissors to cut 15-20 mm from the ends of the required pipes and install the selected couplings:
- plastic compression couplings, or
- brass compression couplings, or
- electro-welded couplings, or
- plastic compression ball valves. Tip: Solids (sand) scratches the plastic ball inside the plastic valve, resulting in loss of tightness. We recommend the installation of plastic valves only in clean geothermal systems, without dirt inside.
The SUN circular manifolds set consists of two manifolds: an upper manifold and a lower manifold. Top and bottom manifolds can be easily installed one on top of the other using a piece of plastic pipe Ø40 mm, for which Ø40 mm holes are provided in the middle of the manifolds. If it is necessary to increase the distance between the lower and upper manifolds, e.g. in the case of using oversized compression plastic couplings - a plastic sleeve is provided.
For filling the geothermal system with brine, for pumping the circuits and for air venting - both manifolds are fitted with Ø32 mm sockets and with detachable brass unions with 3/4" female threads.
Ø63 mm spigots were made for connection to the geothermal heat pump pipes.
The SUN manifolds set is made of virgin polyethylene, free of impurities and colourants.
Operating conditions:
- temperatures from minus 15 to plus 60 °C;
- pressure up to 5 bar (short-term overpressure up to 8 bar possible).
