The Ø32 mm U-turn is designed to assemble geothermal probes with your own hands at the installation site, based on the actual borehole depths and distribution manifold connections.
Welding the U-turn with quality polyethylene pipe Ø32 mm using moulded polyethylene couplings (sometimes also called electrofusion couplings) ensures reliability, high speed of probe assembly in-house, minimum waste and low cost of the geothermal probe.
Occasionally, two Ø32 geothermal probes are lowered into the borehole. Compared to a single Ø32 probe - two probes reduce the hydraulic resistance of the brine, and increase the thermal capacity of the borehole. At the outlet of the borehole, at the ground surface, four Ø32 pipes are obtained, for the connection of which we recommend the use of Y-turn geothermal probes.
