Manifolds for chamber, manifold chambers

Geothermal manifolds are designed to be installed in makeshift concrete, brick or similar stone manholes.

Advantages of homemade stone manholes:

  • the cost of a stone manhole is cheaper than that of a plastic well + its transportation from the factory to the installation site;
  • fast construction of stone manhole, all the necessary accessories can be purchased in the vicinity of the installation site;
  • in addition to the geothermal system it is possible to install other engineering equipment such as a water well, a water expansion tank etc. into a large diameter stone manhole.

Disadvantages of a stone manhole:

  • the diameter of the concrete rings for the manhole is about 1.5 metres, which has to be taken into account for neighbouring garden and buildings;
  • the installation of a geothermal system in a stone manhole is more complicated, time-consuming and therefore more expensive than the installation of a prefabricated plastic geothermal manhole.
